The jealousy starts young...

Ellie is jealous of Ricardo's female coworkers! She was delightful today, in a very sweet mood. When I got off of work, I picked her up and we went to HyVee to buy some balloons
and a big birthday cookie for Ricardo, because today is his birthday. On the way there, she was talking about how she is a princess, and she's going to marry her prince, Prince Papi!
When we went to his work, all his coworkers (females) were saying how sweet Ellie was, and she told them, "I don't want to talk to you. I don't want you to look at me." And went to snuggle into Papi's side.

On the way home, she said, "Mommy, I was mean to those girls."

I said "No, you weren't mean, you were just being shy."

She said, "No, Mommy, I wanted to be mean to the girls."

"Why, baby? Were you jealous of them?"

She sighed. "Yeah, I was just jealous..."
