The Holy Ghost
On our way home from church yesterday, I asked Ellie what she learned about in nursery. She said, "we talked about the ghost."
I smiled. "Would that be the Holy Ghost?"
"Yeah, Mommy. The Holy Ghost."
"Ahh. And how does the holy ghost make you feel?"
"All better! And, the Holy Ghost makes the peoples not get your car, too."
???? I'm thinking they must have given some example, with a story about someone feeling the Holy Ghost and something not happening with their car. Dunno.
I then proceded to explain to her that the Holy Ghost is always with her, making her feel good and safe, but she can't see him because he doesn't have a body. She asked if he could wear a shirt. I said no, because he has no body to put a shirt on.
Then she said he was right there with her.
"That's nice, Ellie. He's next to you, making you feel good?"
"Yeah, he's sitting in his carseat." :)
