Pink Cupcakes
I went out ALL BY MYSELF the other day. Ricardo insisted.
In 6 weeks, I think can count how many times I have left the house on 2 hands. And that's with kids and hubby!
So I was pretty happy to be on my own. As I was walking out the door, Ellie sweetly requested that I bring home a surprise for her. I agreed.
Instead of getting her another toy that would be broken, lost, or forgotten about, I wanted to get her an experience she would remember.
I haven't been able to focus much on her lately, since the baby is so darn needy. And she screams most of the day long. And when she's not screaming, I want nothing but to sleep.
So I knew Ellie could use some Mommy time. And so, I brought home....... CUPCAKE stuff! Pink, none the less.
We had a blast together-- it was a *sweet* experience.
When they were done, we all sat down at the table to enjoy them together. Ricardo was holding Eva. I guess he decided things were too peaceful, so he began sliding poor Baby Eva across the table on her portly belly toward Ellie and her cupcake, and (speaking for Eva) saying in a shrill voice that he was going to eat it. This caused Ellie to shriek and dive frantically for her cupcake, squashing pink frosting in between her little fingers.
The game went on for a few minutes, and every time I watched stout Eva making a move for Ellie's cupcake, with her plump cheeks and huge oblivious eyes, I laughed so hard that I snorted like a piggy. Family is fabulous.

Jackie, pay close attention to my photos in this post-- I think they're getting good! Tell me what you think.
But only if you agree that they're good. If you think they stink, keep it to yourself. :D
