The Doctor PC
So I'm pretty much in awe of my husband. I think he's the greatest thing on earth. He finished his website and got it up and published, and he's already had 2 calls from potential clients, and one more contacted me on Facebook.
Wed night he got a phone call on his cell, and it was a guy whose laptop had a virus, and he wanted to know how soon Ricardo could be out there to fix it. So he went out there that same night, and brought it home to work on. He took it back to the guy last night (Thurs), and the guy was so impressed and happy with the job Ricardo did, that he said he's going to tell his friend to call too, because his laptop was doing the same thing! And so the business is up and running, and the profits are rolling in :) All because he's so smart that he taught himself how to use a computer 6 years ago! Amazing.
Oh, and Ricardo asked the guy how he found out about his business, and he said he just googled "computer repair cedar rapids" and found the Doctor PC there on google!!! Which is really exciting, Ricardo thought it would take a while to show up on google. :) I'm so proud of him!
On another note-- Ellie's been a peach lately, and we want to buy her a little tea set to reward her for good behavior. She's been into playing tea party with plastic cups on her Dora table.
So we got online last night when she was in bed, and looked on Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us, to see who had the best tea sets for the best prices. We found a plastic one that we liked from Walmart, and then a tin set that we liked from Toys R Us. We were discussing which of the 2 sets would be best for Ellie, when Ricardo brought up a very valid point.
Ricardo: Which one do you think would hurt us more?
Me: What do you mean, when she leaves them all over the floor and we step on them? Probably the tin one.
Ricardo: No, I mean when she gets mad and chucks them at us! Which would hurt worse to get hit in the face with?
Yes, she's been really well-behaved lately-- but she's still 2 :)
We went with the tin one. It'll pick up more wind resistance and probably not fly as fast through the air before making contact with our skulls.
