Gag, Chug, Sparkle, Repeat.

Ellie used to scarf down veggies like they were candy. Now she looks at them as if they were live worms wriggling around on her plate.

So how do I get her to eat them?

I appeal to her vanity. I told her that carrots make her eyes beautiful and sparkly (not entirely untrue).

Now she pops one small piece of cooked carrot into her mouth, gags, almost pukes, chugs some milk, and then runs to the full-length mirror in my room to admire her eyes.

And repeat... Girls will do anything to look beautiful.
