To Infinity....

It's really late to be blogging-- but this was so funny I just had to.

I went in one last time to Ellie's room to kiss on her before I went to bed-- and she woke up a little.

Enough to ask where her Buzz Lightyear was. (she falls asleep with it and then I take it out of her bed because it's hard, and it would hurt her if she rolled over on it. Plus if she pressed its buttons, the stupid thing would wake her up with its talking.)

I said "it's right here, baby," and picked it up off the floor where I had left it. I put it next to her, and she glanced sideways at it, then closed her eyes again.

"Thanks," she said. "He relaxes me."
